Alice Milota Obituary
Alice H. Milota, 87, of Arlington Heights, died peacefully on September 17, 2024.
Alice was born in Huntsville, Illinois on February 9, 1937, to parents Fred and Mary (nee McKeown) Hester. Alice married John "Jack" Milota in April 1969, after meeting through work. Alice was actively involved in church, serving as a Eucharistic Minister for many years. She was an avid gardener, and spent countless hours tending to her many plants. She loved to laugh and joke with her family, and shared many stories about her childhood growing up on a farm. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Alice is survived by her sons, Tim Milota and Joe Milota.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 28 years, John "Jack" Milota; and her eight siblings.
Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 11 a.m. with a visitation the hour prior, all at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 434 W. Park Street, Arlington Heights. Interment will be private following Mass at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Alice's name can be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois www.nkfi.org.

My husband and I met Alice on a pilgrimage to religious shrines beginning with Lourdes in France. We immediately 'clicked' and enjoyed years of friendship and laughter, hugs and tears. She was very dear to us and her faith helped ours to grow even stronger. May she rest in peace.
