Amy Kopp Obituary

Amy Susan Kopp

Amy Susan Kopp, 42, of Oak Brook, formerly of Prospect Heights, passed away on October 7, 2025. Amy was born to Janet (Notaro) and the late John Kopp.

Amy will forever be remembered for her kindness, gentle spirit, and the love she shared with everyone around her. She found her passion in life working with the elderly, offering comfort and care to those who needed it most.

Amy had a deep love of animals and was devoted to the pets who brought her joy throughout her life. Above all, she cherished her family especially her nephew and niece, Stevie and Lola, who adored their Auntie Amy.

Amy was the beloved daughter of Janet and the late John Kopp; the loving sister of Lisa (Steven) Johnson; and the proud aunt of Stevie and Lola Johnson. She was also the cherished niece of Karen Notaro; and had many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate team at Loyola University Medical Center for the exceptional care and kindness they provided to Amy.

A visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Pedersen Ryberg Funeral Home, 435 North York Street, Elmhurst. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Visitation Catholic Church, 779 South York Street, Elmhurst. Entombment at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines.
