ANDREW GREMER Obituary

Andrew J. Gremer, 89, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on October 26th, 2023. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 56 years, Irene Pacheco-Lefebvre. He is survived by his children, Michael (Joanie Smith) Gremer, Andra Gremer, Mark (Jane Anderson) Gremer and Martin Gremer; loving grandfather to Amber (Rob) Pushak, Ariana (Josh) Gloeckner, Jake and Luke Gremer; great-grandfather to LillyRose and Tyten Pushak. He will also be missed by his canine buddies, Groot and Tala. Andy spent his whole career as an electrical engineer for Commonwealth Edison in Chicago. He was a longtime coach for Waycinden Area Baseball League. He loved fishing, playing cards, watching old M*A*S*H episodes and attending his children's sporting events. He will be fondly remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of church, community, and country. Andy was a proud Army Veteran. His family will be forever grateful for his generosity and his unconditional love. Visitation, funeral and interment private.
