Anthony Brzozowski Obituary

Anthony Brzozowski A Mass of Christian Burial for Anthony Brzozowski, 72, of Princeton, Wis., will take place on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 1 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service, at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Princeton, with Father Dale Grubba officiating. Burial will follow the service in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home in Princeton. Born Feb. 2, 1936, in Poland, the son of Hipolit and Harriet (nee Zarczyn'ska) Brzozowski, he died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, at his home, surrounded by his family after a 12-year battle with cancer. Tony immigrated with his family to the United States after World War II and settled in Princeton. He moved to Chicago and married Helen Janicki on Sept. 14, 1957, at Holy Trinity Church, Chicago. Tony worked at Lakeland Plastics in Illinois, before his retirement in 2001. His hobbies included woodworking and car restoration. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Princeton. Tony is survived by his wife of 50 years, Helen; four children, Annette (Mike) Sutich, Denise (Ralph) Pierotti, Derek Brzozowski and Michelle (Kenneth) Reimer; grandchildren, Katrina, Kayla, Avery, Debbie, Rick and Ralph Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, Brittany, Morgan, Jennifer and Anthony; sister, Teresa (Alfred) Glod; brother, Richard (Karen) Brzozowski; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Doug Glod. The family would like to extend a special thank you for the loving care Anthony received from St. Agnes Hospice.
