ANTHONY JUDE STEPHENS M.D.

Anthony Jude Stephens, M.D. was a devoted father, gifted doctor, and trusting friend. He passed away peacefully on September 1, 2022, at the age of 68, with his children by his side. Tony will be laid to rest in Graceland Cemetery. Born to Mary and Chet Stephens on October 28, 1953, Tony was a practicing neurologist for more than 30 years, helping countless patients over his decades of work. None were more important to him than his sons, Quinn & Will. Being a dad - specifically their dad - was the most important thing in his world. Whether it was brunches in Uptown or scuba diving in Cozumel, he wanted nothing more than to be where they were. His dedication to others and not himself came at a cost. While Tony would answer the phone at all hours for another, he was unable to ask for help for himself. His family recognizes how hard that can be and wants to support organizations doing the incredibly important work to support those in need.
