BARBARA C. BORTOLOTTI

CARPENTERSVILLE - Barbara C. Bortolotti, 88, of Carpentersville, IL, passed away on February 13, 2018 at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. She was born on February 11, 1930 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Aubrey and Lydia (Hemphill) Cochrane. Her interest included Knitting, Crocheting and spending time with her family at the lake. She will be dearly missed. She was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church in Carpentersville, and was Woman of the year in 1969-70, she also headed the RE program for many years. Survivors include her children: Keith (Mary) Bortolotti, Ellen (Jim Simons) Bortolotti, Robert Bortolotti and Nathan (Elizabeth) Bortolotti; son-in-law: Jeff Kalupski; along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Lawrence Bortolotti in 2016; a daughter: Amy Kalupski; daughter-in-law: Tracy Bortolotti; a brother: Ken Cochrane and sister: Mary Eggert. Funeral mass will be held on Monday February 19, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Monica's Catholic Church, Carpentersville. Burial will be private at Windridge Cemetery, Cary, IL. Visitation will be on Sunday at the Laird Funeral Home, 120 S. Third St., West Dundee, IL from 4-7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or Susan G.
