Cathie was always interested in people and had a wonderful gift of conversation. Even in her trying times of recent years she would ask about my family and people at work. She wanted to do more here on earth with ministry but I know she will continue to inspire us as we remember how she lived her life. I will miss her and send my sincere condolences to Stan and Melanie.

Our mark in life is felt by those we touch in passing. Cathy was that vibrant, energetic force that was contagious and special to be around. She made people feel good with her positve look on life and devotion to her family and faith. May God create a special space for her in heaven where she can continue to be a bright light. May her faith give you strength and comfort knowing she is one with the Lord.

Dear Stan and Mel,
I remember your family from the
Greentree Child Care Center where I worked, when Melanie was one of the first babies enrolled there. Kathy was a beautiful person, and a great mom. I also knew her through mutual friends who worked at Abbot. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. I remember many conversations with her. She was so proud of you both. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

Dear Stan and Melanie,
I also worked with Cathy at Abbott and know how dedicated she was to always do the right thing. When we went to graduate school at Loyola University I met the real Cathy. Cathy is a woman of great spirituality who lived her Catholic faith out in the open, wide eyed and honest for everyone to see and understand. She taught many of us the lessons of true courage. Cathy always brought a light of life and energy to the Abbey and our Retreat Center when our classes got together for our course work or if she was on an RCIA retreat. The prayers of my family go out to you. Know you are joined by many others who deeply feel the loss of Cathy Kudra.
Sincerely,
George P. Freeman

Kathy will be missed by all that ever met her. She was an inspiration to so many people and was a good friend. We wrote a song together for purchasing that I later turned into a christain song that she encouraged me to do. She Loved the Lord and she is with him today. I will miss her very much.

Dear Stan and Melanie,
During these many past months (and years) of Cathie's physical sufferings and your associated sufferings, the three of you have been in the hearts and prayers of so many people.
O Stan and Melanie, we praise and thank God for the witness of great faith, hope and love that you and your dear Cathie have exemplied throughout these years! Yes, the Kudra Family has positively and inspirationally touched many lives.
On behalf of the Steve & Helen Dempski Family, please accept our heartfelt sympathy. Upon hearing of Cathie's death, I pictured the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and Al and Stephie Swirski welcoming your wife and mother with opened arms and embracing her so tenderly! Dear Stan and Melanie, we now pray that Our most gracious and loving God will continue to bestow upon you His healing rays, spiritual graces and temporal blessings through all your tomorrows.
With all my hugs and prayers of love, Teresa
