As I spoke with Patrick, we knew Christopher in different ways; but, we both agreed that Christopher was this sweet, shy, boy/young man who always had a smile but never put himself 'out there'. Although I fell in love with Amy and then with Michael, Christopher always just shied away. It breaks my heart for those he left behind, but Patrick and I will always remember him as a member of our family and will always be missed and thought of fondly.

Chris,
You packed the house. It was standing room only at your service. There were so many of your friends there. There were so many of your relatives there too. I don't think you know how much you touched all our lives. I heard over and over again about your smile - and your laugh. You truly did light up a room when you walked into it.
Say hello to Alex for us. Every day is a campout now. Grandpa will have to fill in as the Father until I get there. I'll always miss you bud.

Sitting in a chair, looking out the window. A tear runs down my cheek. My mind tries to understand but my heart is broken. Happiness comes in strange ways-I hope and pray that you have found yours.
Reunited with your mom, waiting for the day that we will join you. No pain, no sorrow. I love you forever.

It will be the little things
that you will remember,
the quiet moments,
the smiles, the laughter.
And although it may seem
hard right now,
it will be the memories
of these little things
that help to push
away the pain
and bring the smiles
back again.
With Loving Memories
Chris you are loved by all of your friends I hope you are still smiling now because your smile will be in all of our thoughts.

Dear Amy and the Bartsch family- I have no words to express how sad I am to hear about Chris's passing. Know that you are in my thoughts, and in those of my family. Amy, you were a sister to Chris and he a brother to you unlike any siblings I have ever known. That will never change. Love you, Kristin
