Cynthia Hackl Obituary

Cynthia S. Hackl of Wauconda for 36 years Memorial service for Cynthia S. Hackl (nee Lanigan), 52, will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda. Memorial visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until the time of services Thursday, at the funeral home. Born June 12, 1952,in New York City, she passed away Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at Good Shepherd Hospital, Barrington. Cynthia was active in the Wauconda Chiefs Soccer Association. She was a research technician for ITW-Ramset/Redhead in Elk Grove Village, and was a member of the 1998 U.S. Patent Society. She was the beloved wife of Leonard; loving mother of Ryan (Rebecca) and Kristen (fiance Ryan); devoted grandmother of Lauren; cherished daughter of Phyllis (the late Robert) Dickson and the late John Lanigan; dear sister of Richard (Susan) Lanigan, Janice (Victor) Espinosa and Marne' (Charlie) Harmon; and fond aunt of Dawn, Amy, Kevin, Kendra, Mirella, Victor and Emily. Although many years have passed since I have seen many members of Cindy's family, there are nothing but good memories of what a wonderful person she was. Even in passing I am sure she will be a guiding light to all the people that knew her.
