Cynthia J. Huber

Cynthia J. Huber (nee Holsen), 64, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, after a valiant 5-year battle with cancer.

She was the beloved wife of Jeffrey; loving mother of Ryan (Ashley) and Evan (Elizabeth); grandmother of Jackson, Alice, and Thomas; daughter of Janet Holsen; sister of Susan (Daniel) Schalk and Stanley (Angela) Holsen; aunt to Sydney, Samantha, and Sophia Schalk and Eva, Olivia, and Amanda Holsen.

She is preceded in death by her father, Tom Holsen.

Visitation Monday, 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. at Northwest Highway, Mt. Prospect.

Visitation Tuesday, 10:00 am until Funeral Service 11:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 100 S. School St., Mt Prospect. Interment St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Mt. Prospect.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cancer Survivorship Center at Lutheran General, 1999 W. Dempster St., Park Ridge, IL 60068, which provided Cindy and all those touched by cancer a safe, empathetic, and encouraging environment.
