DAVID A. BEAKE

1949 - 2015

David A. Beake, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Wed. July 29, 2015. He was born Oct. 19, 1949 in Libertyville and was a 1967 graduate of Warren Township High School. Dave has a home in Las Vegas, where he lived from 1986-2008 and has lived in Libertyville for the past 7 years. He was a master carpenter and was employed by the Uline Corporation and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, fishing, blackjack, poker and bingo. Surviving are his loving wife Linda Beake (nee Werchek); 2 children, Catherine Beake of Las Vegas and Keith Beake of Libertyville; 4 grandchildren, Lauren, Joey, Jake and Mia; 3 great-grandchildren, Kingston, Ginger and Oliver; his brother Dennis (Susan) Beake and sisters, Frances Miller, Norma (Edward) Swanson, Helen Caldwell, Margaret LaForge and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Judith Sanzone and brothers, Richard, James, Robert, Alvin and Maurice. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015 at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home Ltd., 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville. A service will be held during the visitation at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
