David Cunningham Obituary

David L. Cunningham of Ingleside A funeral Mass for David L. Cunningham, 61, an Ingleside resident for the past 1½ years, formerly of Buffalo Grove for many years, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, at St. Bede Catholic Church, 36455 N. Wilson Road, Ingleside. Born Oct. 15, 1941, in Milwaukee, the son of George and Alice (nee Malady) Cunningham, he died Tuesday, May 13, 2003, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Interment will be private. Mr. Cunningham loved and enjoyed his entire family, including his grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman and a member of St. Bede Catholic Church in Ingleside. Survivors include his wife, Cecile (nee Grellinger) of Ingleside; children, Sheila M. (Tony) Finan of Harristown, Ill., Dennis M. (Jennifer) Cunningham of Overland Park, Kan., and Margaret A. (George) Yousif of Rolling Meadows; grandchildren, A.J., McKensie and Catherine Finan, Sean Cunningham, and Alex and Nikolas Yousif; and his siblings, Michael (Katie) Cunningham of Bainbridge Island, Wash., Mary (Chuck) Mazza of Milwaukee, Margaret "Peg" (Mike) Wealton of Downers Grove, Ann (Brent) Albrecht of Chicago and Cathy (Bill) Driscoll of West Bend, Wis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, Ltd., 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road (½ block west of Route 12, ½ block west of Grand Ave.), Fox Lake (in the Chapel on the Lake). Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 777 Central Ave., Highland Park, IL 60035-3240 or Ronald McDonald House, 622 W. Deming Place, Chicago, IL 60614.
