I was so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He was a great friend during our teen years at Camp Awana, the organizer of the Contemporaries, and someone I'll remember always as fun, talented, and a good sport. In all my years of singing, Dave was one of the best accompanists with whom I worked, and I have used a couple of the arrangements he wrote for me often over the years. Although I hadn't seen him in a long time, he is and will be remembered with real affection.
