When I think of "Webb" I think of a great0 man that was a part of something so much bigger. I can still hear Webb call out to my dad,
Hey Richie, you remember that time..."
I remember the first time I heard Webb call dad Richie I was just a little kid and didn't know who he was talking too. But over the next 30 years I would learn so many stories about baseball, turkey bowls, but more important I learned first hand what true friendship looked like. I saw an incredible group of guys that grew up together, moved apart but their hearts never left each other or that neighborhood. Webb taught me what true joy looked like, playing that tradition football game every Thanksgiving morning, for such a successful man, simply spending time throwing the ball around with friend, giving each other a hard time, and sharing a beer after the game.

I remember as a kid seeing all these friends walk into that bar and just throw money on top of the bar, and no one seemed to care how much they put down. They kept putting more and more and more. At first I thought they were putting in money to buy drinks but now I realize they would put any amount of money it took on that bar because they werent buying drinks they were buying time together.

And to such a special group of friends, that was priceless.
I watched that group of friends laugh, share old pictures and articles, tease, hug, and for hours and hours recall the good ole times, but the true gift for me at that moment is seeing that group of best friends never stop making those memories together. In their eyes I saw the world stop, I saw true joy, and love. And when the money in the pot on top of the bar was gone, and everyone had to go their separate ways to their families, they would shake hands, say see you next time... and they meant it.

At the drop of a hat, I knew in my heart anyone of those guys would be there for each other and their families at any cost because they truly were the best of friends. Webb thank you for letting me into that circle as a kid, thank you for teaching me what true joy looks like, and being a great friend to my mom and dad, we will see you next time... and miss you until then.

My deepest condolences to Hollis and the entire Webster family. Time will help the process of healing for the tremendous loss of a great man. We all feel the pain and sorrow, but with great memories of Dave has made this slightly easier to endure. He was an exceptional person. Great son, brother, husband, father & friend to all those that were blessed to have him in their lives.
He brought many people together with his kindness, love and generosity. Bringing people from all walks of life together who may have never had the chance to meet one another. Who all came to appreciate each other and love each other through Dave's friendships with each of us.
My memories and love for Dave will continue on for me. Remembering the way he gave his time to so many and still be there for his lovely wife and children. Dave, you leave behind a great and powerful legacy behind with Michael, Rachel and Ben. I'm proud to have been able to have you in my life as well.
Love you brother, forever!
