DEAN R. "DINO" ROEHRIG

Dean R. "Dino" Roehrig of Sleepy Hollow Dean R. "Dino" Roehrig, 29, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates. Dino was born in Elgin on May 3, 1983. He was a lifelong resident of the Dundee area and a 2001 graduate of Dundee Crown High School. Dino also served in the Army. Dean was the keeper of the best jokes and could moon walk like no other. He invented the vocabulary that no one could really understand. Dean lived, ate, and breathed the Blackhawks (yea, nice play-off beard - ick). Dean loved all meals, the underdog, and animals. We were lucky to have him in our lives to keep us on our toes and laughing. Dino is survived by his daughter, Jaden Marie; his parents, Dale R. and Mary Joe Roehrig; and his sisters, Tiffany, Jamie and Baby Dale. Dino is also survived by his nieces, Penelope, Cecilia and Ezra; his grandparents, Letitia (Dennis) Dilley, and Nick (Alyce) Burke; his aunt, Dawn (Barry) Stiegel; his uncles, Craig (Christine) Roehrig and Steve Roehrig; cousins, Steve, Dana, Renee and Amanda; lifelong friend, Wayne; and countless other good and faithful friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dale and Margaret Roehrig; and his aunt, Colleen Roehrig. Family and friends will gather for visitation on Thursday, June 7, from 4 to 9 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee, where Blackhawks attire is encouraged. Visitation will also be Friday, June 8, from 9 a.m. until the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, West Dundee.
