Delphine Brigham Obituary
Delphine was the devoted wife of the late Robert L. Brigham; loving mother of Christine (Jeff Bergin), Gary (Indira), James (Gina), Michael (Noel), and Robert (Lisa); grandmother of Renee, Natalie, Annelise, Charlie, Bill, Leo, Vaughn, Liam, Jackson, Robert, Michael and Joe; sister of Dolores (Robert) Osborn, Lenore Andrychowski and Michael Andrychowski.
Delphine married Robert in November 1960 raising their family and remaining in Rolling Meadows for more than 60 years. An avid gardener for most of her life, she brought an annual, colorful display of beauty to her home and neighborhood. Del worked in a variety of jobs eventually and proudly owning a housewares business at the Merchandise Mart where she met many of her friends. She was always available to listen and help a friend. Delphine was a caretaker at heart. So many family and friends benefited from her giving nature.
She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's activities and family gatherings. We will miss the personal Happy Birthday song and her long loving hugs. We will miss her in so many ways.
Visitation Monday, November 11, 2024, 9:00 am to 10:30 am at the Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road, Rolling Meadows. Funeral Mass to follow, 11:00 am at St. Colette Church, 3900 Meadow Drive, Rolling Meadows. Burial will be private.
