Donna Lee Schmitz

Donna Lee Schmitz, 81, of Wauconda, IL, passed away on August 31, 2025. She was born on April 1, 1944.

Donna was the beloved wife of Jim; devoted mother of David (Autumn), Jeffery (Nicole), and Michael (Jen); and cherished grandmother to Daniel, Elliot, Maddie, Allison, Spencer, and Ben.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 4:00 PM until the time of sharing at 7:00 PM at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda. Interment will take place on Friday, September 12, at 9:00 AM at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary.
