The Class of 1964 of Fulton, Illinois may have been his first class to be the sponsor. I was in charge of the float for the homecoming and I remember the disaster the float was. As we drove by Mr. Oak on the parade route, he simply sat down on the curb and held his head in embarrassment. I was fortunate that he was also a very forgiving man and a great teacher. From the Class of 64 we salute Mr. Oak and ask God to bring comfort and peace to all of his family.

Not mentioned because of Earl´s extensive service to all through the years, Earl was a great baseball coach for a lot of kids back in the late 60s and early 70s. I played with David on either the "Aztecs" or Chiefs" around 1st to 5th grade. I think Mr Fink (father of Jerry) was the other coach. Was a fantastic mentor! God bless his soul!
