EDWARD KOTOWSKI Obituary

Edward A. Kotowski of Arlington Heights Edward A. Kotowski was born Feb. 27, 1929, in Chicago, to Antoni and Catherine "Kate" (nee Glogowski) Kotowski. He died peacefully on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. Mr. Kotowski served in the Army during the Korean War and he worked as a meter reader for Peoples Gas until his retirement. He continued to work at Jewel Foods in Palatine for many years, and was a 50-year member of the American Legion. Edward is survived by his many friends; and his cat, Patsy. He was preceded in death by his brother, sister and his parents. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday, April 30, at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Save-a-Pet Inc., P.O. Box 266, Grayslake, IL 60030 or the Strays Halfway House, P.O. Box 68811, Schaumburg, IL 60168-0811. Arrangements were made by Glueckert Funeral Home, Arlington Heights.
