Carl & Family--
You have our sympathy at the passing of your father. I am sorry to have missed visiting with you at the funeral home on Monday morning at 8:45 AM. I was very interested in a 1944 correspondence your father had written back to his family concerning Mr. Makeever at the YMCA in Joliet. Mr. Makeever's daughter Marg just celebrated her 87th birtday on 1/11/2008. It is a small world.
May God's peace be with you and yours....

Thanks to all for your kind words and encouraging messages. My father will be missed. He and my mother were in love up 'til the end. He died with the hope that he would return home to be with her.
