Edwin Kehm Obituary
Edwin C. Kehm, 89, of Elgin, passed away on September 26, 2025. He was born June 27, 1936, in Waterman, IL, the son of Edwin G. and Thelma Kehm.
Edwin graduated from Beloit College in 1957 with a bachelor's degree in history. He retired from the Elgin Police Department in 1992, with the rank of Lieutenant.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Linda; his sons, James C. Kehm and Charles F. Kehm; 4 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Catherine L. Kehm; and a granddaughter.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Laird Funeral Home, Elgin.
