EILEEN PARKER Obituary

Eileen G. Parker of Rolling Meadows, formerly of Palatine Visitation for Eileen G. Parker (nee Roche), 83, will be on Sunday, Aug. 28, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Services will be on Monday, Aug. 29, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Theresa Catholic Church, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Born Aug. 21, 1928, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011. Eileen was a 1947 graduate of St. Scholastica High School. She was the beloved wife of the late Jerome F.; loving mother of Thomas, Mary and Jerome P. Parker, Kathleen (Thomas) Wegwert and Margaret (Barry) Fox; cherished grandmother of Ryan Fox and Kevin Wegwert; dear sister of Noreen (the late John) Brady; and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Roche; and siblings, Shelia (Jack) Hagan, Maura (Richard) Callaghan, William Roche, Kathleen (John) Brotherton, Thomas (Jeanette) Roche and John Roche.
