Gene Dourlain Obituary

Gene B. Dourlain formerly of Des Plaines Services for Gene B. Dourlain, 82, of Brooksville, Fla., will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Pinecrest Funeral Chapel, 15010 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville. Born March 26, 1921, in Chicago, he died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at Camden Medical Center in St. Mary's, Ga. Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery. Mr. Dourlain was a retired sales executive for Webcraft, a printing company, where he was employed for 12 years. Gene was a veteran of the Army, serving as a Staff Sergeant during World War II. He was a member of Brookridge Country Club in Brooksville, and BPOE #2582 in Brooksville. Survivors include his wife, Patricia M. (nee Day) Dourlain; his children, Jeanne (James) Kostecki of Brooksville, Linda (Gary) Andrews of St. Mary's, Ga., Kathy (Donald) Quatraro of Elk Grove Village and Robert (Kathleen) Dourlain of Wheeling; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and his sister, Margaret Wojcik of California. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jean B. Dourlain and Loretta (nee Roberts) Dourlain. Visitation will be today, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., at the funeral home.
