GEORGE FAUST

1926 - 2021

George Faust passed away peacefully at the age of 95, in Evergreen, CO, on Oct. 12. George was born on Jan. 15, 1926, in Ontarioville, IL, and served in France during World War II. He returned to Chicago and raised his family. He lived in Palatine from 2002-2015. He is survived by his sons, Wayne (Sally) of Evergreen and Don (Jim) of Davenport, IA; 5 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. His wife of 42 years, Eleanor, and his wife of 12 years, Gerry, as well as his oldest children, Tom and Nancy, preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Monday, Nov. 22, at Christ Lutheran Church in Palatine. A light lunch will be served immediately afterwards in the social hall. Memorials may be made to the Palatine American Legion Post 690, or your local VFW. If the life you live is measured by the way people feel about you when you leave this world, then George was rich beyond belief.
