GEORGE FREDA Obituary

George R. Freda - Beloved husband of the late Marjorie "Midge" (nee Braun). Loving father of Frank (Diane), Teresa and Thomas (Ellen). Proud grandfather of Daniel (Dana), Andrea (Josh) McIntyre, Brian and Benjamin. Great-grandfather of Brooklyn, Katelyn, Ashlyn and Jacob. Preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. George was the Former Trustee of the Village of Bensenville; Captain of the Bensenville Volunteer Fire Department; Trustee of the Bensenville Fire Protection District; Past President of NECA; and was also involved in many other community organizations. Funeral Service Tuesday 10:45 AM from Geils Funeral Home, 180 S. York Road, Bensenville, IL proceeding to St. Charles Borromeo Church, 145 E. Grand Ave., Bensenville, IL for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton, IL. Visitation Monday from 3-9 PM at the funeral home.
