Harold holds a special place in my life. He was a father figure, and a mentor. He was the first example I ever had for how to be the best employee you can be. He not only worked at the Mt Prospect News Agency but he was the father of three sons that worked with me as part of the best crew the MPNA ever had. It was his example of how to deliver service with a smile weather he was delivering newspapers or packages for Marshall Fields. You might say that he even fathered the UPS because Carson Pierre Scott, Montgomery Wards and JC Pennies started an upstart delivery service in the Chicago area to compete with the level of service he was already providing in the classic green delivery truck that he so proudly drove.
Harold loved to fish, from a boat , on the ice or for smelt on a pier. He shared this love with his sons and even me. He had a charmed life with the love of his life a special girl from Wickenburg WI. Harold lived a great life and will be missed by all that knew him.

The Trevino's
March 21, 2019
Our family sends their deepest condolences and prayers to the family, especially you Vern. The two of you showed so many of us what marriage means. We personally owe you the most sincerest thank you. For if it wasn't for both of you, Dave would not have met Bob and I would not have met Bonnie. They introduced us, watched us become friends, and witnessed our love grow. Because of Bonnie we married on Halloween, her favorite holiday, in1998. Thank you both for being a part of our life story and forever in our memories. God bless you Vern with continued strength and grace. Much love!
