Beloved husband of Mary Yurkiw and the late Rosemary, nee Montagna; loving father of Anna (Kevin) Wolak, Karen Olmetti, Doreen Melarkey, and Rocco (Kelly) Melarkey; stepfather of Mike (Pamela) Yurkiv; devoted grandfather of Richard, Nicholas, Katie, Anthony, A.J., Michael, Cristofor, and Joseph; stepgrandfather of Michael Yurkiv; great-grandfather of Hailey, Alexander, and Brie; fond brother of Patricia (the late Dave) Foley, Sheila (Dennis) Butler, Michael, and the late Joseph Melarkey; cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Harvey was the owner and operator of Elmhurst Service Comp. Visitation Sunday, February 26th, 3-8pm at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd., Lombard. Funeral Monday, at 10am at the funeral home. Interment private. Memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and American Heart Association are appreciated.
