Herbert Eugene O'Meara ANTIOCH - Herbert Eugene O'Meara, 80 years old, passed away at his residence on Friday, June 12, 2015. He was born July 27, 1934 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Herbert Eugene and Evelyn (Morton) O'Meara. On August 14, 2010, Herb married Carol (nee Quesnell) Easley at St. Raphael the Archangel, Old Mill Creek, IL. He was a parishioner and member of Holy Name at St. Raphael Parish, as well as a member of the Ambassador Club of NorStates Bank in Waukegan, IL with his wife Carol. Herbie was also a volunteer at Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan for 15 years, where he provided over 5000 hours of service. Herbert is survived by his wife, Carol Easley; his children, Lynn Russell of Florida, Debra Ann Easley of Grayslake, IL, William (Pam) Jensen of Grayslake, and Susan Easley of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Will "Chip" (April) Jensen, Joseph Brandimore, Lucus (Sarah Fowler) Brandimore, Jennifer (Michael) Oliver, and Adam Gomez; his eight great-grandchildren, Christian, Piper, Bella, Liam, Lexi, Katelynn, Alex, and Noah; and siblings, Donald (Carol) O'Meara, William (Patricia) O'Meara, and Donna Norton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James O'Meara, a sister, Elizabeth Kunze, a grandson, James Cass Brandimore, and his first wife, Audrey O'Meara. Visitation will be held from 4-8PM Friday, June 19, 2015 at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch, 1055 Main St. (Route 83), Antioch. Funeral service 10AM Saturday from Strang Funeral Home of Antioch to St. Raphael the Archangel, 40000 N. US Highway 45, Old Mill Creek, IL. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM.
