Herbert Wyatt Obituary

Herbert A. Wyatt of Carpentersville Funeral services for Herbert A. Wyatt, 86, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee. Pastor Robert Baker will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Elgin. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Born May 26, 1919, in Genoa City, Wis., the son of Alfred and Margaret (nee Stocker) Wyatt, he passed away Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at Sherman Hospital in Elgin. Mr. Wyatt was a Army veteran of World War II.. He was a member of Elgin VFW and the Elgin Moose Lodge. He was a manager for many years with the Keith Andrews Boy's League in Carpentersville. Herbert is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lea (nee Febbraro), whom he married Nov. 10, 1945, in Rome, Italy; his children, Sandro Wyatt of Carpentersville, Dino (Cindy) Wyatt of Twin Lakes, Wis., Steve (Cheryl) Wyatt of Crystal Lake, Janet (Pat) Kampert of Crystal Lake and Johnny Wyatt (fiance Pravina Patel) of Carpentersville; grandchildren, Stephanie Wyatt, Jennifer Wyatt, Kathleen Morin, Michelle Finefield, Teresa Wyatt, Michael Wyatt, and April and Brent Kampert; and a stepbrother, Hobart Elliott of Wisconsin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mario and stepbrother, Frank Elliott. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund.
