Herman Rehberg

Herman A. Rehberg formerly of Elgin Memorial services for Herman A. Rehberg, 66, of Green Valley, Ariz., will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1111 Van St., Elgin. Born Feb. 9. 1938, in Burtons Bridge, Ill., the son of Herman Sr. and Emma (nee Pinnow) Rehberg, he passed away peacefully Saturday, July 17, 2004, in Everett, Wash. Herman retired after 30 years with Ameritech and enjoyed traveling with his wife of 44 years, Sandra. Herm also enjoyed golfing and hiking with his friends. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Risen Savior, Green Valley. Gregarious, industrious and above all else kind, Herman will be long remembered and missed. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; his son, Jeffrey (Stephanie); his daughter, Paula (Jeffrey) Thomas; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jessica and Joshua; and by his brothers, Lavern (Alice) and Roger (Joyce). He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Richard; his sisters, Violet Rice, Helen Rice and Ruth Brown; and by his granddaughter, Amelia Thomas.
