Ida Lorenz Obituary

Ida Marie Lorenz of Geneva Funeral services for Ida Marie Lorenz, 98, formerly of Chicago, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia. Interment will be in Mount Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at the funeral home. Born June 28, 1908, in Germany, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Brennenstuhl, she passed away Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, at Provena Geneva Care Center. Ida is survived by her sons, Donald (Doris) Lorenz of Somonauk, Roy (Gloria) Lorenz of Batavia and Charles (Sandy) Lorenz of Bensenville; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Rudy Brennen of California. In addition to her parents, Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; sisters, Elsie Boettcher and Freda Weibrecht; and a brother, George Brennenstuhl.
