Lauren, Barbara, Richard and family; thank you for sharing a stunning, demanding, loving and caring mother with Breida and myself. Rose Kennedy had nothing on your mother! They ran what is known as a tight ship. Much was demanded of you as well as your friends. There was Q & A period given at least to Lauren's friends before the door was opened on Austin and the Washington residences. Then there were instructions given to those who were allowed entrance. Then the inquisition followed and you were expected to present your goals and objectives for the next 5,15,25 and 30 years along with the format you would use to obtained them. Following the 20 minute interview you were given the criteria and agenda that you were expected to live by for that evening. Through the years there were periodic reviews to evaluate whether or not one was maintaining their focus. Your mother expect and accepted only excellence. A loaf of hot or warm Irish Soda Bread was the proper gift. This may be a run on paragraph that she will remind me of when we meet again. I and we will always be grateful to your parents for giving all of you to us. Your family brought lasting and beautiful memmories to everyone. May the wind be at your back, Breida and Dennis Roach
