ELGIN - Jeannine Marie Noffs, 86 of Elgin, IL passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on February, 23, 2016. She was born May 17, 1929 in Savanna, IL the daughter of William and Agnes Hass Wires. She lived most of her life in Elgin and graduated from Elgin High School in 1947 With her husband George, they owned and operated George W. Noffs Moving and Storage, Noffs Self Storage and Noffs Industrial LLC. Jeannine was a member of Gamma Sigma Sorority. She is survived by her children, Robert (Candy) Noffs of Woodruff, WI, Cheryl (Charles) O'Connor of St. Charles, IL, Charles (Natalia) Noffs of Elgin, IL and David (Karen) Noffs of Crystal Lake, IL, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and her brother Allen Wires. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George, her siblings, Charlotte Miller, Nancy Thompson and Robert Wires. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Elgin at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park in Elgin. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Wait Ross Allanson Funeral and Cremation Services Elgin Chapel 51 Center St. Elgin, IL and on Saturday at the church from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.
