JEFFREY MEYER Obituary

Jeffrey Meyer, 69, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 while in Australia. Jeff never left home without his all-encompassing smile and was eager to take a big bite out of life. He brightened every space and was the center of so many universes. His deep affection for family, friends, life, his Faith, music, fishing, and all his adventures make him an eternally shining star. He is survived by his mother, LaVonne; brother Randall (Betsy), and sister Vicki (Dave) Richards; his children, Nora (Ryan) Sawall, Keith, Kevin (Lina), Leah, Travis (Jacquelyn) and Monica along with his cherished grandchildren, Gavin Sommi, Huxley and Ivy Sawall, and Kaylee and Zoey Meyer will miss him terribly. Jeff's memory will also be a blessing to his partner in life (wife) Karen Deiss and her family who he loved and treated as his own. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene and loving wife of 29 years Donna. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. followed by a service at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1151 N. St. Mary's Rd in Libertyville. Private interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Libertyville. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
