JEFFREY JAMES MOORE

GREEN OAKS - Jeffrey James Moore, age 56, died Saturday, January 27, 2024, at his home surrounded by those who loved him dearly. He was born September 18, 1967, in Evanston, IL to James and Jermayne (Fritzen) Moore. Jeff was very athletic and enjoyed playing baseball throughout his Prospect High School career, even receiving a scholarship from LaCross University. He was also a graduate of Illinois State University. Jeff always encouraged his daughters with their hobbies and sports, and with his love of the game, found himself coaching their softball team. Jeff had a huge heart filled with love for everyone and everything, especially his cats and dogs. He loved his friends and family deeply, always to be sure his mother was well taken care of. Jeff was a loving dad, caring son, fond brother, uncle, and friend to all. He will be missed immensely, it's hard to forget someone that gave so many memories to remember. Left behind to cherish Jeff's memory are his two daughters, Katie Jermayne, and Kyra Moore; mother, Jermayne Moore; and sister Becky (Tom) Palmieri. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, James Moore. A visitation will be Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 329 Brainard Ave., Libertyville, IL 60048.
