Jeremy Mette Obituary
Jeremy "Jerry" Mette, age 73, passed away on February 8, 2025, at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights, IL. Jerry was born on July 1, 1951, to Robert "Bob" Mette and Delphine "Del" (John) Budzynski, both of whom preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret "Peggy" (Kaufman) Mette, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage; his daughter, Kelly (Chris) Bean; and his two adored granddaughters, Charlotte "Charlie" and Makenna Bean.
He will be remembered as a kind and loving father, grandfather, husband, and friend, whose legacy of hard work, dedication, and love for family will live on in those who knew him best.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd., Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. A Chapel Service and Military honors will take place at 7:15 p.m.
