Jerril W. Satterlee

Jerril W. Satterlee formerly of Glen Ellyn Memorial visitation for Jerril W. Satterlee, 69, will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Thursday, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road (one block east of Naperville Road), Wheaton. Born March 20, 1935, in Clinton, Ind., he died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer. After receiving a bachelor's of science degree from Indiana University, Jerry was a partner in BES Cup, later working as a manager of marketing and sales for Sweetheart Cup and Golden Valley. He was the first supplier to ever be elected president of the Illinois Automatic Merchandising Council. Jerry was a former president of the Glen Ellyn Kiwanis Club, and lieutenant governor of Illinois and the eastern Iowa district of Kiwanis International, where he set a record for increasing membership. Jerril was also on the Board of Directors of the DuPage Credit Union and a 32nd degree mason of the Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Masonic Lodge. He was the husband of Suzy (nee Hines); father of Jeffrey Satterlee and Amy (Gregory) D'Aquila; grandfather of Melinda and Amanda D'Aquila; brother of Dr. Winston Guinn Satterlee; and uncle to many.
