It was a sad day when Rachel came in to tell me that she would not be in school on Wednesday because her grandfather had passed away. During the past year, Rachel had shared with me her love and concern for her grandfather many times. Of course, she could not comprehend a situation that even adults find difficult to understand. Each time she spoke of her grandfather the pride and love she felt for him and his very special

"market" shone brightly in her eyes.

My sympathy to the entire family.
