BATAVIA - Joan Marie Garastik, 87, formerly of Chicago (Brighton Park). Beloved wife of the late Peter Garastik, loving mother of Virginia "Ginny" (John) Sprawka, of North Aurora, adored grandmother of Keith Bomba and Craig Bomba; great-grandmother of Lukas, Blayne and Landon Bomba; fond sister of the late Sandra Leszkiewicz, the late Virginia Frystak and the late Richard Skorupa. Visitation will be held 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 24, 2017, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave. (Route 31), Batavia, IL. Following the visitation, the funeral will process to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2300 West Main Street, Batavia, IL to celebrate Mass at 10:30 A.M. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Geneva, IL.
