Jon Kautzman Obituary
Jon L. Kautzman, 86, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024, at The Sheridan in Green Oaks. He was born Aug. 11, 1938, in Stanton, Nebraska, and was a graduate of the University of Nebraska Pharmacy School. He was a US Navy veteran, having worked in the pharmacy at Great Lakes Naval Station, later Center Pharmacy in Libertyville and Krafft Drug Store in Lake Forest. Jon loved to travel, red cars, cooking and especially his family.
Surviving is his wife, Sandra Kautzman; 2 children, Jill (Rick) Turco and Jay Kautzman; 5 grandchildren, Alexandra, Jack, Isabella, Caiden, Sophia; and his brother, Tim Kautzman.
A visitation will begin at l0 am followed by a memorial service at Noon on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024, at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association., 225 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60601.
