Joe was one of the smartest and fun people I've ever had the pleasure to call my friend. We met in 1981 at the Sylvania Technical School where we both figured we had better make something of ourselves. I think we both did OK and I attribute much of my success to him.
We remained close for the next 10 years and although we haven’t been in touch as much since he moved to Illinois, he has always remained a close friend. The type you could see after a long time and speak to as if you saw him just yesterday. I don’t know how many times he would say, “So Bud, when are you coming out to Chicago?”
I hope anyone who reads this will understand what a genuinely nice person he was and how much he will be missed.

Joe was one of my first and best friends. We were in our teens together. It was Joey,Me and Huey. He was a great kid and I've thought of him often. We did some crazy kid stuff together. Your Dad gave me my first car. It was the white 65 Impala. It breaks my heart to hear of his passing. He was so giving. I was a poor kid and Joey was always there for me as was Huey. One of my fondest memories was going to your Grandmothers house over the bridge from Newport in Jamestown and going out to the Lighthouse. It was a life altering moment for me and Joey provided that for me.

Greetings, I believe that Joseph's brother, John, was my co-worker at a company in Evanston, IL. John often spoke of his family and brothers. Please accept my condolences at the passing of Joseph. He was a young man and passed away much too soon for his time. Sincerely, Bob Kita
