JOSEPH GORSKI Obituary

Joseph E. Gorski of Wauconda for six years Joseph E. Gorski, 79, a former longtime resident of Clarendon Hills, was the beloved husband of 57 years of Nancy (nee Glusack); loving father of Dr. Gregory (Vivien) and Loren (Jane); cherished grandfather of Laura (Dominick) Clarizio, Ashley (Jason) McArdle and Kevin Gorski; proud great-grandfather of Julie Ann, John and Luke Clarizio; dear brother of Stella (Adrian) Narlock, Bernice (Richard) Mottram, Stanley (Jutta), Mary (Robert) Glen, Chester (Donelda), Edward (Barbara), Dorothy, Richard (Beth), and the late Jean (Frank) LaPlaca; and uncle and great-uncle to many. Joseph was born Dec. 17, 1931, in Chicago, and passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, Ill. Joseph was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Knights of Columbus - Council 4053 and the American Legion of Hinsdale, Ill. Visitation will be Thursday, April 28, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda, where funeral services will start with prayers at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 29, proceeding to Transfiguration Parish, 348 W. Mill St., Wauconda, IL 60084, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment with military honors will follow at Transfiguration Cemetery, Wauconda. Dear Nancy, Tony and I feel like a family member has died. Joe was such a cheerful, easygoing ,friendly guy. His love for you was beautiful to see. Joe was a model for how husbands and dads should act. You and your family are in our prayers . Love, Tony and Sandy Michelin
