JOSEPH GRECO Obituary

Joseph F. Greco, born to Charles and Jean in Chicago on September 4, 1941. Brother to Geri (Bill) Steenveld, Carol (Andrew) Korovesis, and Bobby (deceased). Father to Theresa (Buck) MacLaughlin, Charles, Daniel (Jenny), Neva (Chris) Hinzman, and Amanda (Matt) Holmes. Proud Grandpa to Ewan, Sophia, Lia, Daniel, Curtis, Charlotte, Audrey, Hazel, and Jonah. Beloved "uncle-father," in-law, and faithful friend. Joe proudly served his country as an Army officer stationed in the Korean DMZ. He returned home to earn his law degree and start his family with Karen. Joe practiced law in Schaumburg for over 40 years. He enjoyed travel, reading, hunting, and fishing, and loved to share in his children's lives. Joe passed away peacefully on January 14, 2016, with family by his side. He is survived by his sisters, children, grandchildren, and loyal chocolate lab, Stitch. Joe wants you all to know that he is "fine, thank you, fine." Visitation will be held at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg on Saturday, June 18, from 3 to 5 p.m., followed by a memorial service beginning at 5 p.m. He will be interred at Rock Island National Cemetery.
