My father, Victor Anderson, and Jo Ann's father were friends for many years. It was after both of our dads died that my mother, Fern Anderson, thought it would be nice to visit Grace and Jo Ann. An immediate and comfortable relationship began between us. Every time I visited my mother, from my home in Washington state, we made a point to visit them at their home. Of course we always had coffee and pastry, beautifully served.
I am sorry for your loss of a dear friend and relative. I am happy for Jo Ann as I know she loved the Lord and we often spoke of Him and the Glorious inheritance we shared in Jesus Christ. May God comfort and bless you.

Jo Ann And Grace were very dear friends to our family. I met Jo Ann while we worked at the Food Pantry..in the nineties. We Became good friends and talked often on the phone. Several times ayear I would visit until it became more difficult for me to travel alone. However, we always kept in touch until the last time we spoke. At that time she said " I love you Pat, I always enjoyed our times together." And that was Jo Ann saying Good-Bye to me. Ilove her and miss so much.

We had the pleasure of living across the street from Grace and JoAnn several years. They were wonderful neighbors and we maintained our friendship after we moved from Geneva. We exchanged birthday and Christmas cards and stopped to visit whenever we returned to the area. JoAnn was a very pleasant and sweet person and we will miss her greatly.

I am deeply saddened to learn of JoAnn's passing. My grandparents, Charlie and Josephine Chrenko, lived next door to Dominick and Grace. As a child, I have many memories of JoAnn and her parents. They were wonderful people! JoAnn and Grace were very comforting to my mother during her illness and passing. I will never forget JoAnn's sweet smile and genuine kindess. My sincerest condolences to her family.

Riding to and from church choir rehearsal with JoAnn and my mom is a comforting memory of many years at St. Peter's. It was a short ride, but always pleasant conversation especially about musical worship. I've missed JoAnn for years and am thankful for the friendship she showed my mom.
