JOSHUA FRENCH Obituary

Joshua Jared French of Naperville Joshua Jared French, age 24, formerly of Georgetown, Texas, passed away tragically on March 23, 2013, in Clay County, Missouri. Josh was born to Joy and Joe French III on December 14, 1988 in Dallas, Texas. Due to a minor complication he didn't come home from the hospital until Christmas Eve day and what a Christmas gift he was. Josh was a friend, a brother, an amazing son and a loving husband. Josh graduated from high school in 2007, where he was an excellent student. He was also an accomplished musician playing both guitar and piano. Josh was a good athlete who enjoyed track, golf and especially soccer. Josh attended Wheaton College (Illinois). Majoring in applied health science, Josh earned his Bachelor of Sciences degree in May 2010. After graduation, Josh joined The Plourde Institute and served nearly three years as Practice Manager. An avid sports fan, Josh took a real interest in Wheaton's teams, especially women's soccer. Josh served as student trainer for the college athletic department which led to him meeting the love of his life, Jaime. Josh and Jaime were married on a beautiful June 9 afternoon, in 2012 in Wheaton, Illinois. Joshua leaves many survivors: brothers, Jake and Justin, and sisters, Veronica and Marisa, and parents, Joy and Joe French III, all of Georgetown, Texas; grandparents, Carol and Joe French, Jr. (Dallas), Bettye and Steve Laesch (Dallas) and Carolyn and Mel Goodenough (New Braunfels, TX); great-grandmother, Gladys Goodenough of Saginaw, Michigan; in-laws, Jon Orewiler and Deb Orewiler (Wheaton, IL); Jaime's sisters, Jodi and Jackie (Wheaton), and her brother, Josh (Chicago); Jaime's grandparents, Marian Holbrook (Northfield, MA) and Joan and Marvin Orewiler (Fairfield Glade, Tennessee); great-grandmother, Cecelia Evans (Winfield, Ill); many, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends scattered across the country. Of course, we pray fervently for his loving and adoring bride, Jaime Orewiler French. Josh trusted Christ as Savior at a young age and was baptized at the Great Hills Baptist Church (Austin, TX), therefore we rejoice in his life lived well with the assurance that we will see him again. I worked with Josh over the phone, from here in MN. I could tell from his voice and his character as a customer, he was raised well and had the gift to make the people around him better. He was dedicated to always getting the most information he could be sure he was supplying his clients and patients the best results. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

To the French family and the Oreweiler's Josh will be missed by many but we have a Kingdom hope Josh is now one of the Saints cheering us on. We can look forward to seeing him again in a much better place. I pray that the family feels Christ love and are surrounded by his Grace during this difficult time of loss. Take heart and know Christ has overcome death and we will be reunited soon!!! You are all heavy on my heart and the Lord is so often bringing you to my mind to pray for you all. As many in Christ's church are being led to do. So please keep the Faith and hope safe in your hearts!! Love Ann Weseman
