I would like to thank all the friends of Lee's that showed their support to our family in our time of mourning. Lee was a loving Husband, dear Brother, loving Dad, dear Uncle, and proud Grandfather. He would have really appreciated the show of support from you all. My thanks to the Hanover Park and Melrose Park Police Departments, you treated him like one of your own. Though he is gone from this earth, he will be with us always in our hearts. I know I will not tee up a golf ball nor watch a Cubs game and not think of him. But that was always the case with Lee, as we had heard from so many of you. Lee always had a way of making friends, and endearing himself to those who cared for him. He left this earth too soon, but he left his mark upon us all. We love you, and will miss you Lee. May God find a special place for you in Heaven. Your Nephew..

Please accept our sincere condolences on Leo's passing. Lee and I were compatriots in Law enforcement and Juv. officers together. He was a Good police officer with a big heart. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. I will remember all the good times we had, but most of all his friendship will be cherished forever and ever.
