What a great friend Les was to our Graue Family for so many years. Remembering parties, all the great Members of the Amer. Legion we met, stories of Les on his Big Motorcycle, the friendship & great times with Les & Marilou, Les & Tom going to an Elgin Garage Sale for Garden Tools but coming back with a Puppy we named Greta. Great Forever Memories of our friend that some folks called "Boomer"! I´m sure Les is now with my husband, Tom, & his Brother, Pete, & many of Les´ friends & family who all left us way too soon! Those friendships never die & if there is Beer in Heaven, I´m sure they are drinking a few with Les now. He was a true friend!

We have fond memories of you, Les, as you strolled through our neighborhood while walking your dog.
May you rest in peace.

So many wonderful memories and laughs we have to recall, Marilou. Les, an unknown except by name, at the time, knew my hunting dog and I were in trouble out on Nesler Rd. many years ago. My battery in my truck was done for, and it was getting dark. Les pulls up and offers to help bring my dog and I back to town so we could get cables to jump the battery. As we drove I realized who this gentleman was, and related our teaching together at Tefft, Marilou. We became really good friends over the years, and there was not a single person he could not get along with. I will always remember our visits on Alison Dr. as well as at your home. Peace To You, Marilou.

Les was a great man, a member of the Strohmaier family, great friend to Walt and Gloria and someone we all loved and admired. We will miss his smile and laugh... our wish is for peace and happiness for our dear friend! Condolences to Marilou as she was the best thing to come into his life. H.K. Boomer, you will be missed by everyone who had the chance to know you!
