I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Chew's passing. I will always have such wonderful memories from growing up in that neighborhood. Mr Chew was always so kind to us. Our prayers are with you.

Sorry to hear about your passing, my brother. You were Master when I came in and you were a very strong influence in my Masonry.Along with Elgin Lodge #117, I was with you in Elgin Shrine Club. I have since moved out near Rockford and am presently Master of Genoa #288 and a Member of Tebal Air Squadron. We will all miss you. Til we meet again in that house, not made with hands. I always say the best place to grow up was on Western and Berkley. Mr. Chew was one of the people who made it that way. He is resting in good company. Our prayers are with all of you. What a card game now.

A great friend and neighbor to my parents --I guess they are getting caught up now. I have had about a dozen major events in my life (57 years) and Mr. Chew I am proud to say was at 8 of them, he left the world a better place for having been here.

I am sorry to hear of Martin's passing. There were many times that we shared comments and ideas at the Board Meetings for Northwest Suburban Shrine Club.
