Randy & Kevin,
My name is Kathie Andrikokus (Till), I am Carolyn Zembron's sister. I was shocked to learn of your Mother's passing. She was such a wonderful person & could always make me laugh. I remember moving to an apartment in Glenview in 1981, & your Mom had next to nothing. She said she wanted to buy me a gift & I said no way. Nope, she insisted that we go to a garage sale. I had to pick something out.I bought a box of 4 light bulbs & she insisted on paying as she had little $$, but still wanted to give me something. I still have those bulb, I never used them because for some reason they were special to me beause of your Mom's generosity in her own time of need. Even after she moved from Lyons Street, I would see her at her home in Northbrook or run into her at the gas station or some store, she always had a big smile with a hug & a kiss for me. Kevin you attended my wedding in 1991 with your Mom who was very generous. I have her & you in pictures & on video. However, even if I didn't have those pics, Mary is a person one could never forget. She was one in a million! She never forgot to send a Christmas Card, sometimes would call me at work just to say hi. She did not have to do any of this as she was my sister Carolyn's friend, but she touched my life and cared about me because I am Carolyn's sister.
I know you will miss her as she was a truly great Mom, admired by many. I pray God to grant you the strength to accept His Will for your Mother. Remember - "Blessed are they who mourn for they shall be comforted". (Matt 5.5)

I am Mary's ex husband and the father of Kevin & Randy. From my point of view she lived her life for others and was a caring and loving person. Her honesty and dedication to her family was unmatched. If ever there was a candidate for sainthood it would have been Mary. Even after all these years my respect and love has always remained. She will be missed by all.
