MARY POULOKEFALOS Obituary

Mary A. Poulokefalos Mary A. Poulokefalos was the beloved wife of Andrew Poulokefalos; loving mother of Irene Poulokefalos (Gary) Warren; and loving grandmother of Nicole Warren (Shawn) Stoltz. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Patricia Karavos; and siblings, Paraskeve (Nick) Kallios, Peter (Mary) Karavos and Michael Karavos. Michael's wife, Penny Karavos survives. Mary was also the loving aunt of Patricia (Craig) Mills, Ted (Lisa) Karavos and Mary (Massimo) Sanago; and loving great-aunt of Tyler and Arianna Mills, TJ, Alexa and Peter Karavos, and Sean and Monica Sanago. Born June 5, 1921, in Arachova, Greece, she came to America in December of 1959. and passed away July 26, 2012. Mary worked for E. J. Brach's. Visitation will be Monday, from 10 a.m. until the services at 10:30 a.m. at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, 7373 Caldwell, Niles. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Friedrichs Funeral Home, Mount Prospect, 847-255-7800 or www.friedrichsfh.com.
